Increased life of Induction MOTORS due to balance voltage
- Another cost of operating on unbalanced voltage is reduced motor life. Recall that operating with a voltage unbalance greater than 1% will increase the I2R losses in the rotor and stator, causing the motor to run hotter. Since every 10°C increase in temperature cuts the insulation life in half. Factor in replacement or repair costs for premature motor failures, unscheduled downtime, and lost production, and the true cost of unbalanced voltage can be much higher than the cost of the wasted electricity—possibly as high as a factor of 10. Due to balanced voltage , Increase of life of motors to more than 20 years instead of 3-4 years .It is a big savings.
Effect of Unbalance voltages on AC DRIVES
- Due to unbalance voltage rectifier as well as Inverter section of AC DRIVES are damaged & may lead to a permanent failure.
Effect of unbalance voltage on mechanical parts
- Due to high voltage , bearings in moving parts like in induction motors gets heated up due to Increased temperature of windings .High degree of temperature of bearing leads to expansion Of bearing balls & so ageing in balls in turn increases the frequency of replacement of bearings in induction motors.

- Major advantage of balance voltage is changes in AC input voltage beyond permissible range to Computer & electronic based sophisticated instrument damages important circuits & components also due to ageing effect on components overall functionality & result of output will be deviated .So now a days Stabilizer is a compulsion for such instruments & applications. e.g CNC /VMC machines etc.
HOW IT SAVES POWER ?
3 Phase Induction motors run on 415 Volts AC ,any higher than this voltage makes an iron loss & that decreases efficiency & consumes more POWER proportionately .Also at higher voltage slippage loss of motor becomes prominent .Overall Power is wasted .Balance voltage saves power.

- Each phase Voltage is controlled by separate motorized-transformers to ensure desired output. Use of high grade copper wires ,Balancing INPUT unbalanced voltages of each phase
- Stabilized output with +/- 1% ,Each phase Voltage is controlled by Micro Processor based control card perfectly ,so Consistent & proven performance for long time . Cont.. overleaf
- In ANALOG cards due to ageing effect consistency in performance is badly affected. Routine checkup of performance of all functions are required for ANALOG Card based stabilizer while for MICRO PROCESSOR based ,it is not required.
- Minimum time to repair due to Single Board Technology. Digital display of all Input/Output Parameters .4 Line LCD display. Individual message for each fault .Not possible in analog cards efficiency 98% ,by using high grade laminations and electrolytic grade copper wires. Pure Sinusoidal wave form ,no distortion.
